Figured I would post my new budget wheels. 1973 Dodge Dart 235 tire with 15x7 wheel with 4.5” Back spacing in the back. Don’t remember what’s on the front. Wheels are Crager D windows that were $70.

Im not a fan of black wheels either to be honest. I bought the back ones because the cragars had slicks on them. Then I switched the bbp up front and just went cheap. Those black wheels are $90/pc.

I am going to put some center caps on my black wheels soon. Can’t decide between black or chrome.

That yellow car is one I remember since I was a little kid man. Used to see you posting about it on Facebook back around 2006 and remember you posting the picture of light showing under the front tire on a launch. That was my goal for a small block street car.

I had an old tshirt with almost an exact copy of that car on the hood. Red with black hood and black wheels that were very similar to those.

I need to order some center caps for my cragars but I am finding they have a few different options for sizes. I won’t be out to the shop until this weekend and it would be nice to have them to put on at that time. Is there a standard size for 5x4.5 wheels?

I’m leaning toward a 15x7 wheel with a 215. I would just need 4.25” backspacing for that?

I was actually going to PM you. I would think a 215 would still offer decent driving on the street. I’m not building an auto cross car but it isn’t a drag car either. Would that be a fair assumption?

Brakes are from a 1980 Aspen.

I know this has probably been answered a million times on here but I was struggling to find it with the search tool. I recently converted front brakes to discs. It has a different bolt pattern so now I need new wheels. I’m not wanting super skinny tires up front. What would everyone recommend...

My slicks rub pretty bad on my car no matter what I do. My fix was a new set of tires :)

I was not impressed with the Radial T/A. They would spin too easily in the rain and they didn’t ride as well as other tires.

I will need to look into the tread compound. I won’t be driving the car a ton but I am not looking for something that’s going to wear out quickly.

I have some quick time pro slicks that I can throw on in a couple minutes for real fun.

These tires look good and they look like they would perform a little better than the radial t/a.

Great looking dart! Those tires look great on a car like that but mine will be a bit more of a sleeper and the back tires won’t be too big.

I have slicks for the track. Just looking for a good street tire.
