    It was the cable! We put a new one in and now it shifts great. Only thing is the selector bracket doesn't suit the shifter so i just need to order the right one.

    I've done around 200 miles on the box with no problems, yesterday was the first time I tried shifting it through the gears manually. I had to stop put it in park, put it in drive then the box shifts normally again. I got under the car and to see if its selecting gears and all seems normal.
