    By your interpretation that would mean half as cool. Twice as cool would refer to if you are running at 180 and your trans cooler drops it by 20 degrees, so you are not at 160, then the pan would drop it another 20 degrees. So its not half as cool, its twice as cool, which is cool.

    Yes you will need to change the length of your driveline. I ran into the same thing when i swapped my rear. And yes you are correct that you will need different shock plates. this is also a great time to replace your u bolts and u joints.

    I agree with caferacerx. And to add my two cents, when you go to build bolt then you can use all of those ford wheels out there too. You can usually find some great deals at swap meets and things like that.

    I just recently swapped an 8.25 rearend into my dart sport with a 904 transmission and now I need the drive line. I live in Oregon and was wondering if anyone has one around that I could buy from them.
