Are there any real Mopar machinests left ???

I ran into a similar situation when I took my factory roller LA block to get the machine work done. We were discussing the build and he kept referencing how that like a sbc. After he hot tanked it, I picked up my block and went somewhere else. I could tell that he had never even touched an sbm.

340 e body motor mounts the same as A?

I just picked up a pair of motor mounts from a 340 cuda and wanted to know if they would work when I swap my 340 in the dart. I'm talking about the mounts that attach directly to the engine, not the rubber piece. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What do you builders think these build specs will run like?

Is this for a power brake car? Because that game may have issues producing enough vacuum.

    Parts list for engine balancing?

I will be getting my rotating assembly balanced for my 340. I have never done this before but need to do it because I will be using a 318 crank. I was just wondering what parts the machine shop needs to do it properly besides my crank, rods and pistons? Do I need my rings, balancer, and...

4 sets of heads are better than 1, but which do I use?

This isn't a question of valves it is a question of flow/ All things being equal which one flows the best and creates the best compression.

    J heads on 1988 roller 360?

Hey guys I just picked up a late LA style roller 360 short block for my dart. I was reading in the book called how to hot rod a small block mopar and it said that on the roller cam engines I cannot use early 318 heads because the push rod holes are not the enlarged style. My question is, can I...

4 sets of heads are better than 1, but which do I use?

Hey Y'all I'm putting a 360 together for my dart and just doing basic bolt on upgrades. The problem is that I have four sets of heads all about in the same condition, so which set should I build? Just looking for best bang for buck. Option 1: casting number 3671587 which says that they are...

    Performer vs. RPM

I notice the plenum is higher on the rpm. Is the added performance worth the shorter hood clearance. Engine is going in a mini truck so clearance will be an issue. I'm just not sure if cutting the hood for the rpm is even worth it.

    Performer vs. RPM

Hey guys I was just wondering if there was a real difference between the eddy performer intakes and the RPM version. And no I'm not talking about the air gap. We all know that one rules. I'd just be curious if there is much of a difference in hp and tq gains between the two. I see that the rpm...

Greeting everyone. I have acquired a bare 340 block pretty recently. I have never assembled a short block before so I need some help.
