Doing the same thing myself. I'd call a glass guy. Its well worth the money and its usually pretty resonable too.

I know that this sounds obvious but if you do use the duplicolor make sure you clear coat it. If you get lazy and don't, the paint turn out pretty flat. As usual it looks great wet but when it dries, its not too impressive. The solution is to clear it.

So I bought this mirror at a swap meet last weekend. I knew it was a chrysler mirror when I saw it plus it has the stamp on the bottom. I just want to know what its from. I already tried to look up the part numbers in various data bases but nothing came up. It is a chrome passenger side mirror...

I don't remember. I just bought a reproduction fiberglass one off ebay and bought a hood from the junk yard so i still have the original. The scoop was like $40 or $50 if that helps at all.

I saw that patina paint build on trucks too. To say the least it was pretty interesting. May work on a rat rod or something but not an A-body. But who knows. It sure would be different and interesting.
