    Ok, which K-member?

yea i was wondering about this too, what happened? As for your question, they're all pretty strong but how deep are your pockets? And, is the car going to be dropping on the front end hard after lifting the front tires off the ground? LOL http://www.firmfeel.com/reinfkfram_a.htm...

    1.03 PST Torsion Bars

I will have to agree with you superdave. The reason I bought mine was that I got to see a 71' Duster at the carshow with PST's and I was sold...The car had an iron block 360 with Eddy aluminum heads, aluminum intake, and headers...believe it or not that engine weighs nearly the same as my slant...

    1.03 PST Torsion Bars

I have PST 1.03's and they work GREAT! Still doing engine building and full suspension modification (mostly hotchkis and magnum force stuff) but the install of the 1.03's into my stock suspension 70' slant six A-body was fine and I still have SOME (not a ton but enough) adjustment left. When you...

    73 Duster wont handle

^^^sounds like the same one to me if I remember right.....alot of our classis mopars "wander" when going down the road...long story short, just a worn out front suspension and steering system. Want it to handle? Put a hotchkis TVS in it and replace all rubber with energy or prothane bushings and...

    What shocks to run?

yep the gas-a-just is a nice shock, i have some cheapo gabriel's from vatozone (like $14 each) with a lifetime warranty and they work fine for our a-bodies because they're so light! Although, mine is street driven 100% of the time right now....

    Parts changing before V8 swap

Yea nothing wrong with that! Unless you're autocrossing or coming down hard after pulling up the front wheels, the LCA's will be just fine imo:) Badart and curleysracecars both hand fab some real nice tubular stuff for our A-bodies maybe check them out sometime!

    Parts changing before V8 swap

hey dusterkid, i'm doing a swap similar to yours and if you put the $20 weld-on reinforcement plates on the lower control arms, you won't have to spend $400 on a tubular set:) That's what i did works greaaaat!

Hey guys.....so i have attached some pics of the DRIVER SIDE front lip of my k-member and the new sway bar tabs that i have welded onto my LCA's (new to my car but oem pieces). WTB: 67-72 lower control arm-sway bar mounting tab

so you need tabs and a sway bar...stick with the 64' sway bar design as you can weld 73+ tabs where you want them to make the 64' sway bar mount properly. DO NOT USE A 73+ SWAY BAR AS YOUR K-MEMBER IS DIFFERENT. Hope this helps...so: 1)73+ sway bar tabs 2)64 style sway bar 3)weld tabs to make 64...

WTB: 67-72 lower control arm-sway bar mounting tab

yes that was for 1 tab and 1 control arm with tab still attached. Were your lower control arms changed? They should look like these and if they have sway bar tabs they'll be towards the middle of the arm: http://70duster440.com/pagecontent/chassis/chassispagecontent.html

    magnum force tubular A-arms...opinions???

thanks for all the opinions guys!!! what is it about the "rms" arms that are advantageous over the magnum force arms?
