Why do the steering wheels seem so big on these A-bodies?

My duster has manual steering and came with the factory cheapo steering wheel. Felt like I was driving a truck. Bought a smaller Grant wheel. Really like it. Sure, its a lot more effort in very slow speed manuvering, but other than that I like it.

what kind of radio will fit 73 duster?

I got a shaft mount Kenwood in my duster too. Got it at Mickey Schorr's too. It is am-fm casette. You won't find a cd player that will fit in the factory dash opening. If I felt the need for cd's I'd just add a cd changer in the trunk. Somebody must still have shaft mount radios.

    bezel removal tool

I made one for the antenna bezel. Figure out what diamater you need, either find a piece of pipe that size or chuck up a piece of round stock in the lathe. Drill a hole through the middle , then take your die grinder with a cut off wheel and make the prongs. Shouldn't take more than a half...

    Radio delete plates

Yeah, they are sorta rare. Not too many cars ordered without a radio. As to if they're worth what people are asking, I don't know. Why pay $100 for a delete plate when you can get a decent stereo for the same money? That's what i did. Was thinking of going the delete plate route, even found...

    Guages on the Cowl

I mounted a fuel press guage on my duster (which has a glass lift off hood) by making a bracket that mounted to the vertical spot at the front of the cowl. I had to cut a small hole in the edge of the hood for the braided line to pass through. The bracket was mounted with a sheet metal screw...

    Interior interchange 1970 Duster

There were a few different patterns used every year on these cars. I don't believe that any years were the same. This goes for seats and door panels. Look at a Legendary Interiors catalog. They show all of the seat patterns and door panels. If the car isn't going to be a dead nuts resto, if...
