    standard 2 field wires off my 70 dart that uses the 2 wire regulator in other words is the alternator exciter wire coming from the ignition supposed to be always in the ON position or is the exciter wire charged only momentary when the key is turned to start at the voltage regulator does it...

    msd coil wires too short...

    where I want to mount my msd6al in the engine compartment , the wires to the coil are about a foot too short. Is there any reason I cant add an extra foot of wire to make it reach??? would it change the ohms or resistance or anything like that???

    Im totally rewiring my car doing my own thing. To avoid relays I am running much larger gauge wire and than necessary and just using an inline fuse for each component. Is there a problem with this??
