I have the 5x4 ralleyes (small bolt pattern) on my 70 Dart. They are only 5.5 inches across. Did they make 5x4 ralleyes that were 7 inches wide like the 5x4 1/2 ones?

I've got 235/60r14 on the rear no problem. 245 's would have fit with about 1/2 clearance

Ive got 235/60/14's (BFG Radial T/A's) under my 70 with stock suspension(8 3/4). They are stock /6 leafs with the leafs strapped in the front. The stock snubber has 3/4 inch clearance, which I understand is the starting point for snubber clearance adjustment. I could have put 255's under there...

I have 235/60/14's BFG TA'a on the rear with a 5.5 stock ralleye rim and 205/70/14 front. No problems with clearance whatsoever. I know that 245's would have also fit but 255's would be VERY close to the leaf spring(running stock V8 springs not SS or 340 springs)

I'm close to putting new rotors on my 70. I'm replacing the LH with RH when I do it. Rock auto has them for about $1.25 each. If you can't find some LH I would be happy to give you a set of 5 when I do it. Probably next week.

Well you just blew me out of the water, I was planning to put a set of BFG RAdial TA's 235/60/14, 9.2 inch wide tread on 5.5 sbp ralleyes I have. So I guess that maybe 225/70/14 at 8.4 inches would be ok??????????

Ive also got a Dart with sbp ralleys at 5.5 also and am looking at BFG Radial TA's 235/60/14 which are 9.2 inches in width. , how do those 225/70/14's work for you. Does your car handle well with them?

The 235/60r14 BFG TA should fit under there, they are 9 inches wide and about 24 or 25 inches tall if I remember correctly. I have heard good stories about them in terms of being a very good tire for the money. I have yet to choose the width of what I think will work on the front of my car.
