I had back firing through my exhaust. Turned out to be one plug wire terminal was corroded. Don't know why. I fixed the terminal and problem solved.

I have MT drag radials on my 64 Sport Fury. Went 12.12@110mph. Others have gone much faster with them. Start there, and also try clamping the front of the leaf spring. That should get you to stop the smoke show.

AN4 is too small. I'm running AN8 from the tank to the regulator. Mechanical fuel pump. Then AN6 to each bowl on a double pumper race demon 750. You need to have a fuel system that will work as you upgrade your car to go faster.
