Sounds like a scam to me. I bought something from Facebook and the company used some bogus shipper that kept requesting money from me. $200.00 insurance fee, then $300 for a covid clean fee...for a $200 steering wheel.
Steer clear and purchase from elsewhere.

I mounted the tires on the turbines. I thought the steelies were dull and lacking. They definitely weigh more the the aluminum turbines. I need to find centers for the turbine wheels still, but they look nice on the car. I'll post a picture later after I get some time out in the garage before...
I think that is the stripe I got and I have the 6 pack hood as well. Thanks for finding it.
I do plan on selling the car when it's finished. I have something else in the works.

True. I cleaned up one cop wheel and put a center cap on. I don't have enough purple left to spray them body color. I could black and clear them. The car will have black side stripes. I still kinda think the turbines, but still need to locate centers for them.
I have 2 sets of wheels for the Duster. Turbines and police wheels. I'm kinda leaning towards the turbine wheels myself. I have the dog dishes for the police wheels as well if it makes a difference.
Thoughts?
As mentioned above. I do it in the garage. Close the door. A guest of wind will blow dust, pollen etc and possibly your tint. I bought a good hard rubber squeegee from napa. Start in the center and work your way out. Take your time and dont look for perfection on the first couple of windows.
Made huge progress on the duster. Finally added brake fluid to the system and bled brakes. Changed out the slant torsion bars for 340 bars. Put a few gallons of gas in the new fuel system. Cranked her over and fired the engine!
Had my 5yr old add 5 qts of trans fluid. (He was so excited to...
Not just today, but all weekend. Work on the Duster seems endless but the list is getting shorter.
Fitted the fiberglass hood on hinges with low tension springs. Set up the shifter and made the KD linkage work with the TTIs. Tie rods, alignment. Installed driveshaft and some other garbage...
Thanks! I take pride in my work. I call it Pandora. I bought it from a clown that used to be on this forum. Completely screwed it up bad. Had the 1 piece AMD floor pan held in by a dozen screws and house caulk. When I jacked the front end up when I got it home, the center of the car flexed and...
About what the outside looks like. So far, my least favorite car I have ever owned. new quarters, floors, rockers... all new drivetrain, suspension, steering etc. Next time I drag it in I will finish the bodywork and paint. About ready to sell it.
My edelbrock has been great. Opened it up out of the box, bolted it on and drove it. Had to change the metering springs and go one notch leaner with the choke. Perfect for me. Other than it going from 1500rpm to idle at the tap of the toe, no complaints. Like it better than the spreadbore...
My Ramcharger currently has a 1406 eddy on it. Been great actually. First one I have used and pleased thus far in the 10,000 miles that I have on it. Just came across the new Holley 80457 and was thinking about switching just to see and for something to do. My only complaint on the Edelbrock is...
Curiosity has me...
A debate between a Holley 80457-8 (600 cfm) vs. Edelbrock 1406 (600 cfm) carbs. Box stock carbs on a nearly stock small block engine. Both aluminum bodies, electric choke and somewhat economy calibration from the manufacturer.
Would there be any advantage/disadvantage...
I personally love ramchargers. On my 4th one which is an 87. I wanted a 2wd version before I got my current one, bit it was boxed in by buildings and a mobile home. Seller wanted me to move the mobile home in order to get the RC. Walked from it.
All RC have rust. I had to replace the lower...
Thanks for all the replies. The machine shop I use is connected to a Napa Auto parts. I dunno, he told me they tried all of their vendors and each one was on back order. He was able to get everything else but the cam bearings. I was able to order a set from rockauto and should have them here...
I was able to get from rockauto. Napa was sold out as well. Hopefully they arrive before next weekend so I can get the block back and start assembling it.
Thanks all!
