When did the dart sport come with the dual snorkle hood scoop :)

thought that was supposed to be a duster....did they just change the box ?

I found the Charger to be slightly larger than most of the other 1/32 scale..it wasn't competative against other muscle cars such as the trans am... Ian.

None of the guys do drag but they mentioned a few that run 35000 rpm at 12v. Slot-it brand 1 think..Sorry...

No , 1/32. I have been out of the game for awhile but the league I raced in is still active...in fact, one of my friends just built a 4 lane parma like track. I shall be back to you. ian.

A good car is about 70. You need ti take it apart and put back together, balance it, replace the tires and lube it..it is actually lot of fun. With our nitro, the nearest person that knows anything is an hours drive so we just play by ourselves.. there is a MX track we belonged to for years...

I have seen the sets but I have done drag slot car racing.. Wrencher, my son and I raced 1/32 competitively for some years. It was a blast ! We then got into MX and the slots were put away. It is a great sport.. ian.

Cool. We didn't get into digital or the unit that allowed you to race yourself. You know from racing 1/32 that the cars don't hold to the track even if they are magnetized like the HO scale. With the two on one lane...can they pass each other ? Now that you explain it, the track layout...

OK, I am puzzled.. So why did he make the lanes so close ? I have run on a number of 4 lane wooden tracks ....I can see a chicanne or 2 but not that much blockage....with wood, you do a lot more drifting and if you happen to take out a competitor when you are doing it, so much the better...

Here was a shot of mine.. No digital but I had a lap program run by a computer. I (and my son) were in a competitive league and the counter solved any disputes.

The MPC went beyond my budget..and it looks like they are not reissuing the Duster..too bad..there is so little out there for the '75 but there are only so many bucks to go around..sigh..

That is the one I have seen the most..didn'r realize that it was a Dart Sport...just couldn't figure out how to take the hood scoop off.. this is the one I have been looking for...BTW, shipping for all of 'em is @ 25 bucks for me.. Are they all dart sports ? It has the hood scoop I would like...

I have never found a '75 duster model anywhere even though I know there was one made...
