Car #3408 12.3 dial i think, still need to weigh it 68 Dart GTS street car, should be close to 3,300. 340 with MP 557/296 solid cam, X heads with bowls cleaned up a bit, el cheapo headers, air gap w/ 750 Holley, 727 trans with 3800 stall with auto valve body, 4.56 gear, 27 inch tire.

Got a few runs 13.16 was the best in the 2 time trials, once I got into the race the next 3 passed I dumped at the end. Think we were down to 4 cars and then the rain came, canceled for yesterday and today. Never got to weigh it or test and tune. We have until end of October, if the weather is...

I agree with brian6pack. When I first put my 340 in my dart with just a cam, intake, headers and carb with a mechanical pump, best it would run was 13.7@102, with 3800 stall and 4.10 rear. I tried jetting for MPH at the track but nothing would change, same et and MPH. I double checked...

What does your fuel system consist of?

A friend of my son had a 05 mustang with 5 speed. Started out about the same, low 14’s. He added some drag radials and got into high 13’s. Then he let his buddy drive who had one just like it, went low 12’s and were putting a new clutch in the next weekend lol.

Depending on trap speed and convert slip you should be closer to 6k through the traps. My 340 with same gear but 27 inch tire is a little over 6k at 105 mph. IMHO 4.56 is about right with a 28 inch tire.

I bought a junk yard starter off a 95 5.2 dodge truck. Never had any trouble putting wires on it.

I used the B&M 10235 on my 904, just have to use a newer starter off a mid 90's magnum. Old mopar starter will not clear the flex plate.

This time out after going over the car and checking everything I could think of I decided to cut the factory tail pipes off the car. I knew they killed a little power with the old cam but it killed even More worth the new cam. It has 2.5 inch pipes from the header back to some flow master 40's...

Flyfish, did you change boosters in your carb when you did the conversion? All the E85 conversion guys say that needs to be done when converting.

Not sure what converter is in the car, was in it when I bought it in 2000, stalls around 3800, looks like a 10 inch possibly. On the run in the video I let off before the stripe, didn't want to break out as I was way ahead. As far as the converter, I have another trans I am going to freshen...

That video was an elimination, I let off before the stripe so I didn't break out. The stuff flying off the dash was my 4 year olds hot wheels he left on the lower dash.

I agree, 91 octane no oxygenated pump gas, i didn't see any aluminum specs on the plugs. I ran an in car video of one pass, I will get up on youtube.
