You're right, 187 isn't bad. You know when you drive your car and know every creak and groan and where the gauges settle in at when going down the road. My temp gauge never climbs like that. Not terrible but out of the norm range

Running a Hayden fan, not oem with a full shroud. Rusty, I might be jumping the gun here, I probably haven't run it enough. I have a temp gun, next time out I check temp when home and test again. Thanks everyone

I went from a 165 to 180 thermostat when changing to a Champion 22" 3 row radiator so it always runs a little warmer then I'm used to. It seems fine, sometimes in stop and go traffic it creeps up a little but not bad. I'm just knocking stuff off my winter list before getting the car out this Spring.

About 1" , also it's pretty far into shroud. I need to center the blade better on shroud

Do the after market fan shrouds that only go about 2/3 of the way around work? It seems that leaving the bottom 1/3 open is not very efficient. Would they work better if you continued with a piece on the bottom to enclose it? I have one on my aluminum radiator, wondering if I can make it more...

24.5 bolt holes wide haven't checked up and down

Found the leak on back side of upper tank on seam, cleaned it up and put JB weld on it. We'll see how it holds up, I will be replacing it so a temporary fix. There's always radiator stop leak to get thru the summer.

Discovered today my radiator is going bad again, not going to re-core it again. Looking at getting a new one this time, want something that drops in factory fit with tranny cooler fittings. 65 Dart V-8, 22" in there now. Thought I would get some feed back before I go shopping. Thanks
