    thanks. the shop said that bearings at 30 under is fine for street. They not like to cut more, can go 60 under max. not certain when you re hard chrome, or when it time to move on. They not fans of too cheap forged cranks. you get what you pay...

It is a street motor and there are a lot of other areas to spend money on when rebuilding the motor. Good rods and head and intake work...

    Yes the MP cast crank comes in two versions. the heavy duty as they call it looks great for the price. Summit is $413/ 4 inch stroke. Stock is steel but not stroked. Oh well.     that is a tight buget to do a stroker. better find good used parts, then re condition the parts and pay for labor at machine shop. poof be gone your 3 grand. and you get to do the final assembly work. :D
