You will have to go 1990 and older for the 5x4.5" bolt pattern. 1991 and newer had 6x4.5" pattern. I swapped a 1995 and a 1996 Dakota over to 5x4.5" bolt pattern. Just get axles and rotors for a 1987-1990 Dakota and have at it. I do believe a Dakota rear is a little wider than an A-body though.

I was told by a local Mopar guru that it would handle 400 hp. and about 400 tq. with an automatic trans. and less w/stick. My buddy and I kinda pushed that limit when we put a 360 in a short bed '85 Ram 150 w/ 4 speed o.d. 8.25 w/ 4.10 sure-grip. The 360 dynoed at 482 hp. 470 tq. and never hurt...
