What dustya said. Sometimes, especially with a new radiator you can get an air pocket in the system and not have enough anti-freeze in the system to keep it cool.

John, I have a 26" radiator in my Duster and have never had an issue with cooling but my car is a 75' and was made for a 26". Mine is a stock appearing 4 core made for an e-body I got from the "late" The Paddock.

I have a 3 row 26" radiator that was for an e-body I bought from Paddock a couple of years ago in my 75 Duster and it fit like it was made for it. I also found out an m-body shroud fit this radiator like it was also made for it. Heres a pic and even though it doesn't show the whole radiator...
