well i dont know what happened exactly but the tailight switch bracket got bent and allowed pedal to move toward dash and master cyl piston follwed it it was not yanked on so i dont know i replaced switch and bent bracket back into 90 degree position no problems so far any body ever heard of...

it pushed past the retainer and the little tab that held it in claimed a bite on the out side of where the pushrod goes into. already replaced master cylinder

just replaced master cyl 2 weeks ago earlier this week went to store come back walked out to check mail and tail lights are on so i start looking and find master cyl piston has pushed past retainer tab and has chunk out of it anyone seen this before [all drum no power]

if you are paying good money to this shop and they have a problem working on your ride take it elsewhere i am sure there is a shop nearby that offers more than weather protection working on these older cars are bound to have a little problem pop up from time to time good luck to you.call on fabo...

it alternates grabbing right then left and after i pump the pedal several times it calms down

it is a dual res with strap across with screw in middle the one the parts store was selling me was no strap but with center screw still is there a difference in master cylinder i dont know

i went to replace master cyl today but one on car has metal hold down strap while new one just had screw thru middle i have drum and no power assist and i have been having a few problems w brake fluid leaving front res and overfilling with pressure rear res could this be a master cyl for use...

the rear is always topped off i was in a situation where i had to scoop some from rear to front and later it was all back in the rear and when i take lid off it seems the rear is under pressure and overflows a little so should i go with a new master cylinder or look somewhere else

its all steel and i have to add fluid every 100 miles or so and there cseems to be pressure on rear res
