Start out with only a pound or two...

I don't know...the thought of launching a completely untested vehicle at a high boost level just sounds a bit risky to me...I am not talking about being concerned with the motor tune, more of a chassis thing...

Start out with only a pound or two...

Just wondering out loud...Lets say one had a completely fresh car. Never driven type of thing..Would there be an issue starting out with minimum boost while working on the tune and the setup of the car? Would it make the turbo act any differently than running it at 15 pounds of boost?

    Hellcat, its for real..

Sure I am going to catch all kinds of hell for this but...I don't understand why everyone is so impressed with it. Come one folks, it is a forced induction motor. They are known for making power. If one were to look around you would see that 700 hp is not all that impressive from a forced...

Advice On Dual Turbo RB Stroker

http://www.theturboforums.com/ One thing I have learned form chatting with some very knowledgeable folks over there is not to buy into the low compression bs. Don't remember his name, but if you spend some time on YouTube looking for "Matt's Dart" you may find one very wild Dart. Has an...

    Drivability blower vs turbos

There is a very specific way to size a turbo. Involves a fair amount of math....T4 is just a mount style. Might want to spend a few weeks reading over at the TurboForums before pursuing this. If you are looking to build a consistent bracket car with a turbo you might want to google "bump box"...

    Cylinder head mods for Blowers

I just this question about turbos....would imagine it applies to all forced induction...."Turbos don't make the air speeds inside of any engine increase, the only make the air more dense. At some point you will reach the limit of the pistons and possibly head deck strength, but that limit will...

My diesel pickemup, a Chebby, has an intercooler on it. It is as large, if not a bit larger, than the radiator. Many folks avoid the intercoler route and use Meth injection. Last I spoke with http://www.sd-concepts.com/ they told me that they are pretty much just using Meth injection to cool the...
