Purchased years ago. Story goes that this came out of a low mileage Duster 340. I remember they said 1971 with 25,000 miles out of Springfield, MA but you can see the VIN is 72. I added the shifter & rods after purchase. 2B208385 will wait a while & if no one claims it, I will sell it.

That car should not have a stripe on it as it is coded for vinyl side moldings! Too many people add the stripe when it never came with it! Overpriced!

This 340 engine came in my 1971 Dart. Complete engine with flex plate attached. I will rebuild for my car, LL23H1R263395 if my engine is not located by October 2021. Located in CT as car was transported here from California.

Very few Red, Green and Blue stripe cars. Most were white or black

There was a car in Ontario about 12 years ago with that color combination. Young kid painted it lime green!

A service man ordered it through his PX. Usually never left the US mainland but was coded for export. Some countries required all 4 side lights to be orange, so the rear red lenses were changed for the export country.

The VIN is clear: 1B252643. 1971 engine and car came out of Michigan (B). Must be Cuda or Duster

I posted a lost 340 for my Dart and 3 years later I was contacted that it was in a Cuda when purchased 10 years before, blown & pulled out, sitting on engine stand - 10 miles from my house!

Please recheck the first block as there was no Dart with VIN that high. A VIN with that build date might be 222101 Thanks again
