    Pistol grip shifter

Using the late B-Body unit works well - I was even able to make a bracket so it works with my console. See pics on my website: http://www.cloudfactory.org/~josh/barracuda/shifter.html

    Brewer's Z Bar for Early A

It should be pretty self-explanatory. When I went to a 10.5 inch. clutch, I found just a custom home made set. If you are having troubles, maybe brewers themselves has some pics and can help?

    Hyd. TOB Kiesler- Any News?

Those are great pictures. I'm wondering if we could get them to machine the thread, but not the mounting holes?

    Hyd. TOB Kiesler- Any News?

Hmm - you would think it wouldn't be too difficult to machine the correct holes into a un machined unit. Am I wrong?

    Hyd. TOB Kiesler- Any News?

Do you know what the bolt circle diameter for the standard a-body early case is? Is it 3.7". If so, I think this retainer would work. http://www.partsformydodge.com/Products/part_detail_1888_271093.html

    Hyd. TOB Kiesler- Any News?

Regarding using the Tilton unit - I think it could still be done with some fabrication and juggling of parts - including a possible new bellhousing. I asked the question awhile ago on Moparts and got this recommendation: 'part number P4529695 is a 4.8" retainer that will bolt up to your...

    Hyd. TOB Kiesler- Any News?

Regarding Tilton - Yeah, I ran into the same problem - For some reason they only thing mopar makes big block engines with the big block size bolt pattern bearing retainer. I talk to some guys on Moparts and they said Tilton did make some for the small block size a long time ago, but there...

    Hyd. TOB Kiesler- Any News?

Thanks, Lee. Say again what current exhaust setup you are using with the z-bar and clutch setup? Can you give details on what parts your friend is using? I might be in a similar situation to try and test things out - I also have a CF clutch - so this is very interesting. 1) option I'm toying...

    Hyd. TOB Kiesler- Any News?

Has anybody heard of the status of Kiesler starting up product of their Hyd. TOB setup for the 833? I heard reports that they were close to putting back into production, but haven't heard much in awhile.

    Hydraulic Linkage

So have you confirmed with Kiesler that their system (when the get it back on the market) will not work with the Centerforce? If so, that's a bummer. The more I'm thinking about it, I'm just gonna go with a slave cylinder - it's not ideal, but seems like a more reliable setup. As for the...

    Hydraulic Linkage

As I think i have mentioned before on this site - when i looked into using a McCleod, they said it wouldn't work with my Centerforce DF - so if you have this type of clutch - this might not be an option. Make sure to talk with McCleod about what type of clutch you have. Also, the McCleod...

    Hydraulic Linkage

Keisler stopped making the kit for the 833 because some pieces needed to be re-worked. They say it's on their list to start making it again, but it hasn't happened. I urge as many people to call them and express interest so they know there is a big market for this type of thing.

    Hydraulic Linkage

I stopped double checking that it would all work once Mcleod said that none of their products would work with my centerforce clutch. From experience I would call and double check as much as you can.

    Hydraulic Linkage

Below were the parts we were going to order from summit, before we found out the McCleod will not work with the cenrtorce clutch - the weights get in the way. Might want to do some research and find out if any of the Mcleod units will work with your current tranny and clutch. Tilton also has...

    Clutch fork help

I know my 66 fork is much shorter than the one I have for my upgraded 10.5" bellhousing.

    clutch info for 9.5"

From information from Brewer's, I think their fork is only 1.5" shorter than the regular 340 clutch fork.

    clutch info for 9.5"

As I was building my 340, I knew my stock clutch wasn't going to work. After looking for a nice 9.5" or 10" clutch that could handle power, and not finding anything, my conclusion was that it was much easier just to upgrade to the larger bellhousing. The 10.5" parts are so abundant that it was...

    pistol grip shifter

You might find a bit of good info in this thread I start in the earlycuda section. http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=14755 My experirience is that it is tough to get any "non-standard" shifter to fit in a console since the shifter has to be pretty much spot in the...
