    Anyone using a 2-row 22" Champion Rad. ?

having a big block, i went with the biggest core that would fit and I'm really happy with the way it worked out. i think it is the 26" wide 2 core core champion. It just fits between the factory overflow and battery tray. never gets hot, even when i took it to florida in the dead of summer.

NO. maybe when i get it all done. all said and done, i spent 85 bucks BUT i bought way more than i needed for a fudge factor. a gallon of resin a piece of 5/16 or 3/8 mdf because i wanted to be able to really strech it into shape if i had to and 2 yards of fleece, which i found when making...

my car is a big block. i didnt have a fan at all so i started with the hayden 18" fan and jag clutch. it is close to the upper hose, maybe 3/4" away. i used part of the lower hose off my slant as an upper hose.

Another champion radiator chapter with pictures

yeah it was annoying. when i asked what size tubes he never answered me i asked more than once. when i asked the thickness of the core it looked like only the 2 row would fit, when i got it the core was much thinner so i contacted him to possibly swap it out for the 3 core, he then told me the...

Another champion radiator chapter with pictures

i have the 26" 2 row from the guy on moparts, i couldnt get an accurate measurment of the core thickness on 2 and 3 core. so i just went with the 2. what size are the tubes in the 3 core? i heard the 3 row has thinner tubes than the 3 row. that was another thing the guy couldnt tell me that i...

Anyone built or found a fan shroud to fit champion radiator??????

im using the 26" with a big block, i think with the engine offset and hieght of the BB, ther eprobably isnt a factory shroud that would work. i very rarely have problems with the temp but when it does creep up its in stop and go, a shroud would help for sure. i was thinking of either aluminum or...

    Champion Radiators in an A-Body

i bought a 26" 2 core for my big block duster by mistake. i didnt know a 3 core would have fit. i used it anyway. i just drove it 3000 miles to florida and back. it was hot as balls. i was pressed for time i put the rad in and a 180 themostat, it went over 160 2 times in 10 days. once in stop...

Mechanical Cooling Fan broke during 6000 rpm burnout.

i have one of those fans too and was pissed when i saw the rpm limit. i dont really know how to take it, when you compare it to a stock fan, there isnt a lot of difference. the one i have does have aluminum blades. i would really think an old used fan that has been flexed for many years would be...
