you have it mounted inside? I'm doing mine now and ive been leaning towards mounting it in the engine compartment.

ahhh, slants arent exactly fuel efficient. i was always messing with mine trying to get more mpg best i got was 18 mpg with the super six 2.5" exhaust and recurved distributor . i put 3.73s in it expecting to kill that, i never corrected the speedometer but it really didnt seem to get any worse.

is that only around town driving? do you have the right speedometer gear for the 3.55 and your tire size? just curious, are you running headers? dual exhaust? what intake manifold?

get a brass inverted flare T and make what you want. most of the dual feed holleys have 3/8" inlets im not sure if you can get 5/16 inlet fittings i used to have a set. you can get the T in 5/16 or 3/8. i bought one from inline tube, but you might be able to get it from an auto parts store.

i had the top off today, it has 2110 rods and 00 primary jets. is that a .100 jet? sounds pretty big for a primary. im about to go for a ride and try the tape trick.

ill give the tape a shot tomorrow and check back in. how does the gasket hold up with a jet change?

i had the vac guage on it when initially setting things up and it seemd to have decent vaccum, i think it was around 15. i thought it seemed like a lean condition too. it is a 9150 carb, what type of number am i looking for on top, i saw a few different ones. thanks.
