I paid $400 each a few years back when I got my car stripped to bare metal and repainted with a catalyzed single stage including bodywork, door jams and trunk. Yes, it came out of the car when it had the stock rear end. That's why I have it. I installed an 8 3/4" with a 200R4 trans.

I found a nice working 150 mph speedometer for my 1968 Barracuda. I had it serviced and cleaned. All I still need is the small knob for resetting the trip meter. Preferably one that is not corroded. Thanks!

You can easily make your own using small heim joints, a few small pieces of aluminum rod, some allen bolts and nylock nuts, a short length of steel rod and a tap & die. I can send you pictures of mine as a guide. It's pretty straight forward. One length of rod with two aluminum stops on it...

This has always puzzled me. If you don't have the numbers matching block, what does it matter which year your replacement block is? Once you lose the numbers matching block, it's game over as far as any increase in value goes. Just put an injected 360Magnum or 408 stroker in it and enjoy the car.

I believe the "adapter that plugs into the speedometer" is in reference to the prongs that are soldered into the printed circuit board. The boards are available at this link, http://premiumdashdecals.com/dash_circuit_boards.htm or you can attempt to repair your old one.
