decided to go to manual brakes for several reasons,10" of vacuum for one,borderline enough for power brakes.so i got a new modern master 15/16 from eberg. and a manual push rod.well let me say this,i dont care what anyone says.power brakes are the way to go.i hate manual brakes,and in a 475 hp...

i have 10" and brakes are borderline driveable.i would not think you could operate with any less without assist

i think someone rebuilds them,cant think of the name though

he would love power disc brakes.sorry but drum brakes just suck.why is he so insistant on drums?he will need a booster and push rod,master cylinder and maybe distribution valve.

cheap pads=fast wear and less performance.get the best pad,and no ceramic(sp)

i have no issues with factory power brakes with 10" of vac.

i would have thought 1974 would of had disc brakes

sorry i must be blind,all i seen was should i swap to a differant cam.i quess i should have assumed he already swapped cams.

you need to find out why you only have 10" of vaccum.do you have a wild cam,vaccum leak,you should have a lot more for a stock 74 duster.assumming its stock,check your hose going to the booster,could be cracked

not sure why you are having issues,all parts are are at napa,in stock
