    ui what I understand is he put a new oil punp shaft bushing in and it shrunk when he drove it in and then forced the shaft down in the now under size bushing and now it is jammed in the bushing but I maybe wrong .

    no the bushing should not come out of the block without major effort what I said was some of the bushings are not finished to the proper size and need to be fitted to the shaft . back to the low oil pressure problem did you grind the oil pump case for it to fit with the main stud ?

    if you used the studs in the back main you would of needed to clearance the oil pump . if not they just barely touch the oil pump and hold it up enough to cause a major leak between the pump and block. causing the problems you have .this is a problem ARP has known about for some time but has...
