w250 1990 cummings the power steering started getting hard to turn pulled the dipstick out to check the oil and there was a pressure buildup and oil started spewing out the reservoir . so i take it the pump is pooched , or could it be the box any other ideas . Thanks .

I PUT A 16-1 flaming river box in a year ago it handles nice but it's too heavy on wheel for me , a 20-1 is in my future .

go with a 20 to 1 and i think pst offers one . 20 to 1 is about perfect in my opinion .

Don't forget to time it when it goes back together so your steering wheel will be straight .

Hey Rocco can you post a link on the ones you are running . i would think they would be awesome on the front . i'm running 90 -10's now but am thinking on changing to the Viking DA .

I'm running the Rancho 9000 9 way adjustable they work alright but if your serious a nice double adjustable like Viking might be a good choice .

I'm going to replace my factory 24;1 box for a flaming river 16;1 . Bad lil Red gave me a great deal on the flaming river . 70 duster with tti's and poly lock mounts . should be fAIRLY straight forward i hope .

you will need these Mopar 8 3/4" (8.75) and Dana 60 Billet Steel Housing Ends then you will need 35 spline axels some green bearings and seals . the axel tubes need to be cut the proper length and the new ends welded on there are videos on you tube . there is a lot more to it but you get the...

because nobody wants them . the 20 to 1 is about perfect still fairly easy to turn and plenty fast . i'm not sure why they are not more common probably because of cost .

i have a 70 duster with 1'' offset ss springs and rancho shocks i will get some pics for you and the shock number they seem to work and hook up fairly well .

there was a thread on here awhile back on the PST boxes , some were not adjusted properly and needed readjustment . i think the problem was they were adjusted way to tight .

what's your opinion on the 20:1 ratio I know of a few and the owners like it better than the 24:1 and even the 16:1 .

if I spent the money for a new box I would at the least expect it to be adjusted properly .

do yourself a favor and find a 20 to 1 .

if your factory box is a 24:1 a new 20:1 box will even be harder to turn maybe you have a 16:1 box now , how many turns from stop to stop ?
