BEST carpenter / woodworking video ever

I think I'd rather watch her get her ponytail wound up in a spinning drill than watch that clickbaity crap. Watching stuff like this is going to the buffet to just look at the food.

The Mopar book of Revelations begins with Daimler and ends with Stellantis. It's not a predictive text, though....just documentation.

    "Mopar 10 commandments"

I lol'd. Good one! Aftermarket parts rarely fit, no matter what brand you have. It's just that Mopar factory parts are better than most aftermarket parts, the same isn't true for the blowtie boys.

    "Mopar 10 commandments"

6&7 are dupes. Thou shalt not ditch thine Torsion Bars for coilovers, for Torsion Bars are perfect and it is thy headers that suck. Remember the seventh day and keep it holy because it is the Sabbath and belongs to God, and remember the sixth day, because it is race day and belongs to Mopar.

The state of Colorado at it's finest

I still have a check at home somewhere from Harley Davidson for $0.01. It was a payment from some rewards incentive program we used to get. When a customer left a good review, you'd get a Happy Card scratcher and I got one for one penny. I've hated USBank for years and when I finally get around...

the stuff mechanics see. My god

Driving down the freeway outside Chicago a few months ago, I noticed we were passing an SUV and the driver's side rear wheel was much darker than the front. Getting along side the SUV revealed that the rotor was broken completely off the hub and still tightly gripped by the seized up caliper...

The cost of building materials are still high so ...

The house my family homesteaded Eastern Colorado in is made of sod. Layer upon layer of mother Earth. It's still standing but dilapidated, you can see it from I70 outside Genoa Colorado. Three generations lived in it. My grandma wanted a window so my grandpa made one, and the grass on the...

I didn't even think about that exchange rate between cinder blocks and batteries. Great point!!

The cost of building materials are still high so ...

The fact that somebody effectively dovetailed those with standard cinderblocks is both impressive, and a nod to the good old days when most batteries were the same size. I'd wager most of those are 6 volt.

The cost of building materials are still high so ...

I'm wondering how many OEM Mopar batteries are hiding in those walls, that some dork restoring a Hemi Cuda would pay $5,000 for.

    This needs to go viral

With inflation it'll likely never go back to the old normal (Unless deflation, which is even worse), but lumber is back to it's inflation-adjusted normal. I'll take that over 3x the price any day!!

    This needs to go viral

Until they shut off the fuel pumps. Agreed, but I suspect it's a passing shortage. I heard on the radio this morning that lumber is back to pre-pandemic pricing. For now. Fuel costs are going back up due to some bad decisions some people made, and that's not going to help anyone, anywhere.

    This needs to go viral

I'm all in favor of reducing pollution, but let's face facts....going electric on a machine used maybe one month out of the year.....stupid. They need to be far more worried about holding India, South America, and (Gasp) Chy-na to global emission standards. 80% first, 20% later.
