Center drag link, are they really $600? 1964 dart

Are they actually different? I'm not an early A guy. But I find it hard to believe that Chrysler would stock two parts when one could've worked for both applications.

Center drag link, are they really $600? 1964 dart

For $600 I'd buy a badass dry sump system and free up a few ponies while I was at it

These have dried up. eBay has probably killed em. Any sources other than ecs for $30 plus shipping?

    MOPAR Dead?

If you ever tap a parking curb with that front spoiler, get out and make sure you're not hung up on any rebar sticking up out of the locating holes before you back up. It'll pull the front bumper cover clean off that car. Thank God for rental insurance. :D

    MOPAR Dead?

If you remember Plymouth had what? One model the last two years of production? Only three the year before that. And Chrysler's has how many models the last few years? TWO. If you're mad about this, be mad at yourself for not seeing this a while back. I mean seriously, look at the Chrysler...

Going to Check Out a "Barn Find"

I'm pretty sure I know that car!!! I think I looked at it in like '02 or '03 but I wasn't interested because it was a narrow A and I was looking for a V8 K-frame for my '72. Is it on the Missouri side? Meh, on second thought, the car I looked at looked like that back then. I doubt that car...

    Opinions welcome

I only disagreed to say that the single MC is never fine. I agree with the rest of this.

    Opinions welcome

I would never use anything less than front discs on any car that isn't a 100% resto/show car. Conversions are easy and affordable these days, and few people will ever notice the change. It's yours and your loved ones' lives in that car, as well as protection of your investment. It's not like...

Woah! 65 Dart body over a BMW

They had better take down those videos and crush that thing. You piss off the Germans and we'll have another World War on our hands.

Where do I Drill My Bung-Hole?

My motor is so huge, and I never run less than WFO, even at stop lights, so I just routed the return line into the air horn on the carburetor. Stepped the mains down 2 sizes and life has never been better. Brick on the accelerator, and I just dance the clutch to show those kids in the school...

    65 Barracuda Barn Find

First off, nice thread with no pics. We got rules here, man. Second, how do you know what Napalm smells like? C: Stroker crank. Get on it. Small bore, no valves, long stroke = torque. I think. Either way, stroker crank.

The Most Devastating Engineering Miscue Found in Early A-Bodies

I found a NOS never installed "Custom" badge in that lip when I was cleaning out a '72 Dart at the junkyard a few years ago

Rarity (and desirability) of a slant six/ factory 4 speed?

The awe-inducing wonder of the rowboat transmission is inversely proportional to the age of the vehicle.

    Well... It is sucks!!

Any hit or chip on the edge of tempered glass can upset the internal stress holding it all together. At least it held together so you can get a blanket underneath to aid cleanup.

Got a Valiant to compliment the Dart!

I had a 170 Dart once. It was a fun driver! You don't need big power to enjoy driving your car. That car looks like it'll be a nice little ride!

    Home Depot wire?

Whatever you do, don't use chinese wire. It's begging for a wire fire. If you're not sure the gauge, get a size bigger. The automotive wire will be more flexible, less prone to work-harden, and as mentioned, won't be affected by solvents. The finer the stranding inside the wire, the better.

If it's a new combo, engine swap, etc, the bottom is the way to go. Established motor in a running car? Either works, but I still prefer going out through the bottom because I typically work alone
