what are you trying to run that 500 on I ran a 500 edelbrock on a stock 318 and it was ok. Good mileage. but the TQ outperformed it by far. I ran the 500 on a 360 and it was so lean I couldnt hardly drive it. I like the eddy carbs for a street car but a 500 is to small.

it is a good idea for people converting to 73 up discs if they dont have arms. now a lot would depend on pricing. when tubulars are about 300 you would have a hard time getting a lot for stock uppers even with the new parts and a core charge. now if you could devise a way to put the bigger...
