Sounds like a good call then. I would have never known that. I think I'm going to put the 4 pin under my hollowed out orange box and then hardwire behind the ballast resister so it looks stock but isn't.

Wow, that's pretty crazy! I still haven't done this mod but plan to this winter but with 4 pin. I didn't even consider the 8 pin lol.

Ha good point! The chrome box was bought at Summit a couple months ago and has been used. Not sure Rev N Nator would return a functioning piece. But yeah I could find those guys. I'm borderline one of those guys, hence the desire to do HEI hidden LOL

Ok so I can just run a ground wire from that metal insert on the bolt hole of the HEI module and run that to the heatsink portion of the orange box as a ground? How did you attach the HEI module so it wasn't just floating? Good idea on pulling out the old resistor wire, thank you! What gauge...
