Check the radiator.. The fan clutch only contributes to engine cooling at speeds under 30. At higher speed the air flow through the radiator is generated by the vehicle speed.

I would suggest two things. 1. Have you had the radiator cleaned recently. Flushing doesn't always clear it and more flow through the thermostat won't do any good if the radiator is partially clogged. 2. There is high flow thermostats made that you can use but in my experience, if you are...
