    Don't think I know of anyone who even if they have the key would think to turn a blinker on... Got mad and went to hit the steering wheel, hit turn signal switch, and it cranked... I won't lie, been like that for a few years, and I haven't looked into why... But is a good anti theft device

    Might sound stupid... Turn your turn signal on. I don't know why, but my car will not crank unless I have a blinker on...

    weak spark could also be the ballast going bad, or coil... Might check them, I know autozone had a way to check the ECU's back in the day

    If you have 4 pin ballast then you need a 5 pin ECU, any 5 pin will be ok. Get one for a mid 70's whatever, they used the 5 pin... my 74 dart was 5 pin... I have heard that you can use the 4 pin ECU in the 5 pin arrangement, but I always got what was there to start with.
