    sway bar

Lol. Yea I have a propensity for this too unfortunately. My sway bar is pretty rough. I can see the entire operation being a bear.

The one review on those summit bushings seems to suggest that they cut the bracket and welded it back up to install them! This is key I suspect. I noticed one of mine is torn just yesterday! I may be heading this direction too shortly.

power steering box removal w/ engine in

I just exchanged my original box for a Borgeson unit. I have a 340 with headers. That driver's side header is in two parts which I removed. Loosened the motor mounts. Then I used a small bottle jack on top of a floor jack and a piece of pressure treated wood to straddle all of the bolts along...

    upper tubular control arm bushings

Conclusion: So first of all I have to thank Bill Reilly at RMS for some of the best customer service I've received...ever. I sent a message to the "contact us" link on their web site and had a response in an hour and a half. After hours on a Friday I think! Very Cool! What happened to the...

    upper tubular control arm bushings

A little more detail maybe? I bought the car with tubular UCA's and one of the bushings is toast. I don't know who made the UCA's and hoped that maybe the cam bolts and bushings are not specific to the after market arms. I'm hoping they are stock regardless of what the arms are. Can anyone...

    service reservoir O ring

sure enough! early and late Saginaw, who knew? Yes mines the "chrysler/Federal" The service manual calls them .94, .96, and the 1.06 period! that doesn't work very well as a search query. Seems if I wipe it off it leaks right at the lip and not from the spindle. I'll pick up an O ring and...

    service reservoir O ring

I've searched the old threads and it seems like some of the rebuild crowd were pulling the pulley to get at this O ring. (which looks like the most complicated part of this operation w/o the two special tools) Are we sure that you have to take that pulley off to get at the big O at the...
