Wrap Positive Cable w/ Battery Relocation?

You say your help is an electrical engineer. I'd use his advise because he's helping you design and build your system and you might need his help down the road. My personal opinion is its probably a little overkill in your car, but what can it hurt. My girl works as the HR manager in a...

    LED bulbs for dash lights

The only thing I'd be concerned about would maybe be amperage draw and if they might overload the traces. Your could still jumper them.

Soda Blasting Electrical Parts-Fuse Block, etc.

Best way to see it in action is to go to Youtube and look up baking soda and super glue.

Soda Blasting Electrical Parts-Fuse Block, etc.

Soda and super glue will repair most plastic parts with a crack or missing chunk. Works good to repair stripped holes in wood also. Its an old luthier trick.

    Inside a FBO control box

Its not about what it looks like, its about how it performs. You could possibly repair that unit since you were able to remove the backing.

    Tail Light Upgrade

Figured Dan had a thread on this. This thread might bring a cheap mod to the tail lights back up for review by people who missed it like me. It was written in 2010. Dan's Comprehensive Thread http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=91840

    Tail Light Upgrade

1157 bulbs are the standard on old cars, 2357 appear to produce 25% more high filament or braking light than the 1157. There is a trade off on life expectancy of the high filament though. 2357 are a direct replacement for the 1157. Probably been said before but worth a repeat, especially...

    fuel pump keyed power

I'd run with the relay system. You can still fire the relay with the key switch. The pump could pull more amperage momenteraly at startup and relay will take the load off the original wiring. Fuses can stop a whole lot of problems if they were to occur.

its never a good idea to let the smoke out of your wires. when you find your problem make sure you keep going, usually you'll find you've created more than the one problem you've found. check everything. your amp gauge took a large charge. in old cars, all voltage and amps pass through it...
