Are we sure about this, I have bern told two different stories about the elusive parts that must be frowned to mat a 170 crank shaft to a 904 not push button trans. Hens teeth to find ! Remember this is a 170 not a 225 or 198. No 66340SEDAN. He has not replyed back to me .

I would like to see/learn more about the hydraulic clutch system, my son said he can add one to my 66 /6 Valiant (not the internal throw out bearing) but a hydraulic push/hydraulic rod to the clutch fork... any pictures of this set up anywhere ?

I was thinking the longer the peddle the farther it moved, 6'' would be a softer/easier peddle if your legs was long enough, easier to push the clutch in with a 6''. It may move the throw out bearing farther. Bump for you, I would like to know more about this myself

I have seen/dun service on new 1998 to 2003 Nissons and they did use ATF, but never have I seen it used in 65 dart 273 4 speeds or all the way to 1980, but anything is possible I quess :coffee2: This is what I would do, I am sure these older transmissions was built to use gear oil :glasses7:

X2 on this post by fklskv, I have drove and owned many 3 and 4 speeds in my 38 years of driving and main tanning my mopars and never have I seen or used ATF in my standard transmission................. I have only used 80/90 gear oil. We are not talking about a 2000 model Nisson here.

My tail shaft does not have a mounting plate for a floor shifter :banghead:
