You could just buy an F/A-body mainshaft and extension housing and convert the trans you got.

I converted a 1970 308 bearing heavy duty B-body trans to use in my dart. I used the Passon aluminum extension housing for the bigger bearing and 727 yoke. Found an NOS A-body mainshaft for the big yoke too. The passon extension housing fit perfectly and looks to be top quality.

I have a pair of decent condition dark green headrests from a bench seat '70 swinger. The chrome ring around the side isn't in great shape but could be dyed black fairly easily. PM me if you have any interest.
