I think the really only difference in the center carbs besides jetting is the 440 has a idle cam thing(cant think of the name) on the drivers side but it bolts to the intake which you won't have the holes.So either will work,they are both 350 cfm. The stock 440 carbs should work on your engine...

A bit of advice,unless your doing a factory spec restore you should look into buying the PRO TECH(not sure of the actual name)baseplates.Tuning a 6-pack is a pain when you have to remove the carbs to set them.

Yeah that's all.One issue may be if some one drilled out the metering plate hole on the ones you have.And yellow springs for all setups 340 or 440. The book covers a lot of the 6-pack cars with just a few pages for the actual 6-pack carb set up,that is my only complaint about the book.

That means it lean.unless the jets are tiny its probably got an air leak.check the base gasket or it may have some internal blockage.you could try running the mixture screws out more and let it warm up good to get a better idea of whats going on.

Could try running your mix screws out 3-4 turns and if it runs somewhat better you have a huge vacuum leak if worse you are getting too much fuel.You couls jet the 800 down about 2-3 sizes to see if that clears up the excesive fuel thru it.But keep in mind a 800 cfm will need a bigger jet than a...

Heli coils are your best bet.Fix it right the first time and you won't have to work on it again.

Why would you think it needs a clutch kit.If the fluid is drained you won't have a clutch works like brakes no fluid no worky.

If the gas can was sitting on the fender or above the motor the pump would only have to pump down to itself and that is easier than pumping up hill from 10' away out of the tank.Also make sure there is no inline filter.Sounds like you need to replace all the lines if the pump is good,not much...

move your fuel line before you get stranded is the only true fix.But if you do end up stalled you can pour your ice from a drink on it if you have one but as far as quick fix you just have to cool the line down any way possible so fix it first and no worries.
