64 dart had a slant 6 in it ,put 340 electronic ign replacing point type dist. put chrome box in with electronic dist use wiring diagram in mopar perf book, motor start but shuts off as soon as i leave go of key must have a wire i didnt put on,maybe something about the ignition switch or ballast...

should i use a dual resister ? has the stock one now how do you hot wire it ? sorry not good with electrical

which is the high side of the resister the one that light up with the key on ?

this one is a 5 wire i didnt use the green one so iam using 4 wires 2 of the wires go to the dist to plug in ,1 wire to ballast on input side ,and 1 wire to coil i didnt change any of the old wiring i still have them pluged in one on each end of the oringal ballast resister just added the black...

i got stock ballast resister 1 post each side 6cyl one should i go to dual ballast ?

ok thanks to you guys the car runs for a little bit, but seems like when i let go of the key it stops, give it a little gas starts right back up but quites any comments ?

have a 1963 dart had slant 6 engine stock wiring put a 340 engine in with electronic distributor and install new chrome box using 4 prongs out of box not using green wire 2 wires i used to plug into distributor plug were do the other 2 wires go ? has stock resistor also do i need something...

have a 63 dart was slant6 put 340 in it with electronic ignition with chrome box box was new but wiring diagram got lost 1st question should the ballist resister be changed ? and to what ? 2nd does any one have a wiring diagram ?wont start seems like its trying as your turning the key off any...

was jumping relay on firewall

nothing when i turn the key, juice to the relay lights up test light ,if you jump it at the relay with key on motor turns over has to be the way the starter ,key is wired now with 340 motor do i need a starter solnoild ?

have a 64 dart was slant 6 running drove it in garage, took out motor,trans,and rear end put 340 engine in it 904 trans never took out any oringal wiring wont turn over with key ? turn key on can jump it outside in engine compartment can any one send a wiring diagram or draw up something for me...
