yeah im using the HEI style for my msd dist. the wire has its own seperate crimp from the insulation. I get what you are saying and think you are totally right.

im assembling a set of wires for my 360 and i was just wondering if its on to solder the wire to the terminal. the instructions don't say they need to be just crimping is fine but why not make a better connection by soldering it? what do you guys think?

A year or so back i saw a device, that plugs in between your battery and the cable, it disconnects when the battery gets too low and saves from killing your battery. I have not been able to find it now that im interested. Anyone seen or used these?

Why do mopar alternators have low out put compared to most others (cheve, ford, ect)? I have a standard wire alternator powermaster 75amp alternator and i see the one wire hookups are about 140amps. How would you hook up a one wire alternator and why does it only need one wire?
