    OMG look at her trunk!

Yeah printed one out off the internet, traced it and cut it out. It's also got another layer of neoprene 1/4" bigger than the blue one,sso it almost has a badge look to it rather than so flat.

    OMG look at her trunk!

In all honesty, with regards to the spare could probably put the tool box in with the cleaner stuff and make up a circular drop in panel with the logo. Spare tire problem resolved. Back to the drawing board.:banghead:

    OMG look at her trunk!

Yes you are right does cut down valuable space for those out of town weekenders, but you can always break it down and lay it flat in the trunk until youneed it for the show:cheers:

Kept it pretty simple, didn't want it to look like some "Pimp My Ride" kinda deal.

    OMG look at her trunk!

The other advantage to the panels aside from the looks. When you're out goofing off and forget about that little something you put in the trunk, you don't end up with that little reminder mark in the quater panel. OOOOOPPPPsss!

Thanks for all the postive comments guys. Yeah the flat tire is always in the back of your mind. Really like Memike's donut suggestion, worth researching for sure. A template kit might be a great idea, then guys could do there own twist on materials they wanted to use. Easy to ship paper...

    OMG look at her trunk!

This whole process started with the tool kit,we won the tool kit in a poker run for, get this "The Worst hand". It all just rolled on from there. Steal away dude, just sharing ideas. Some crazy talented people in the FABO Family.

    OMG look at her trunk!

No spare, can of tire flat and a prayer. All the panels are made out of 1/2" prefinished birch plywood, spray glue and finally neoprene. Started with cardboard templates then the real deal. Worst ones were the filler neck, and the rear around the latch. To get the one around the latch to tuck in...

    OMG look at her trunk!

Believe it or not its all friction fit, except for 2 panels that have velcro, the one around the filler neck and the one around the latch receiver. Takes about 1 minute to take it all outa there. Used neoprene so there's enough squish in the fabric that you can get a good fit without fasteners.

    OMG look at her trunk!

In response to why? Just seemed like people were always looking in there at the shows, so why not? 16hrs and about 300 bucks worth of stuff. Wanted it to look as good as the rest of the car.

    OMG look at her trunk!

Just finished trunk panels on the 'Dart'. Tool kit where the spare was and show and shine stuff under the package tray. Sure cleans it up. What do you guys and gals think? I'm thick skinned I can take it. I know you guys won't be shy.:silent:
