    mini tub/relocated spring wheel width

I am running 15x10's with 5" of backspace. MadDart is also running 15x10's on his. 15x12 seems like it might be real tight. Thanks, OldMoparsRule

    30x9x15 on a 68 dart

Mad Dart, looks like we were thinking the same thing at the same time...8)

    30x9x15 on a 68 dart

...my point was, he is running 15x10 with 5 inches of backspace...I do not think you can run that without narrowing the rear axle. On mine and a few others here who are running a very similar wheel, we had to narrow the housing at least 3 inches per side. I cannot comment on the wheel well, mine...

    30x9x15 on a 68 dart

I bet that if you put a tape on the rear axle, it has been narrowed. On my 64, I had to narrow the axle almost 3 inches per side to fit 15x10's with 5" backspace (Same as your buddies). My 64 is not that much narrower (if at all) then that 68. Thanks, OldMoparsRule!

    15x10 after moving springs

Close...real close. Right now, it still only "looks" fast living on jack stands in the garage...8) I am looking for some 4.30/4.56 gears and a Sure-grip. That should be the last piece of the puzzle. I could run the 3.23's, but I do not want to tear it back down again to change them. (I know...

    15x10 after moving springs

I am not sure it is worth it to move the springs inboard 3" unless you are going to mini-tub the car. You can also buy offset shackles that will move the springs in to fit bigger tires. I do not have any experience with the offset shackles, I did the mini-tub at the same time I moved the...

    15x10 after moving springs

I am also running 15x10's (Welds) with 5 inches of backspace, and there is no way that tire would fit in the wheel well without mini-tubbing it. I hope this helps. Thanks, OldMoparsRule!

It fit fine, and I did not have any issues. Tread pattern was fine, etc. Thanks, OldMoparsRule!

Help with 64 dart gt tire size

On a 14x5.5 Mopar steel wheel, I fit 245x60x14's on the back. I had no rubbng at all, and had room to spare. In fact, they are on in the pic in my Avatar. On the front, I agree the 205 is probably the best choice. Thanks, OldMoparsRule!

    Original Steel Wheel Color

My 64 Dart had 13" wheels with hub caps - all black. My 66 Dart had 14" steel wheels with the dog dish, and they were body colored. I am not sure if this helps. Good Luck! OldMoparsRule!

    $300 a good price for 325/50/15 M/T drag radials?

Yea, I understand your logic, but let me propose another way to look at this. Purchasing used tires is always an interesting dilemma...how much were they used, etc... If you consider the purchase price of $300, against the new price of ~$400, then you are down to a $100 question. Is it...

    $300 a good price for 325/50/15 M/T drag radials?

Is it really just for a test fit? If so, you should be able to find a set MUCH cheaper than that...Remember, for a test fit, you simply need them to hold air. Most folks discard these tires after a specific amount of runs. If you have a local swap meet, or a local race track, you should be able...

    15x7 Rally,s on rear of 66 Dart

I fit 245x60x14's on a Mopar steely 14x5.5 (small bolt pattern) on my 66. That is actually the same tire/rim on the red 64 in my avatar. I put them on both to see how they looked. Fit nicely with no rubbing. Thank You! OldMoparsRule!

    Big tires

I had some 245x60x14's on my 64 Dart (in my avatar). I was running them on 14 x 5.5 steelies. They fit fine with no rubbing or anything. Cooper Cobra is the brand I was using. I have seen then a few times from local tire stores. Thanks, OldMoparsRule
