Pulled the intermediate shaft and rotated the the pump. Loosened the filter again and oil poured out. Yea! Getting the shaft out and back in the right place was fun. Is there a tool for that?

What's the beef on Fram? I never heard this before. Tranny is at the shop. Had to pull the distributor to top bellhousing bolts. Will probably try to get the intermediate shaft out this afternoon and spin the pump with a drill. Will hook up my extra direct reading gauge. Thanks.

Working on a 360. Basically a tranny swap and de-smogging. To remove tranny the oil filter has to come off for one bolt. This engine is a running deal. I haven't started it in about three months. Concerned about little or no oil in the filter when I dropped it off the engine. It shows it...
