Doesn't fit as well, but I'm pretty sure my core support is far from where it's supposed to be. Everything on the bottom of this car is smashed to hell.

The stiffener is also about 3/4" taller than the core support

Here's what I'm dealing with.

I'm mocking up my core stiffener today and I'm finding it to be a poor fit. My core support has a very gentle radius on it but the US Car tool stiffener has a very sharp corner. Should I? 1) persuade the core support to be shaped more like the stiffener 2) persuade the stiffener to be shaped...

I'm not saying it's bad. I'm saying it might be stretching my abilities.

I can always try the MIG and if it turns out bad, it's not a big deal from there to cut out the area and weld in a new spare tire pan

bbrroowwnn, should I weld up the pin-holes? or patch those areas?

ScampMike, looks like there are a couple different brands that make fiberglass hoods for the Duster. Is one better than the others? Maybe a cowl hood to provide space for a blower? :D

Not at all. This is a restomod gen3 hemi project. Originality is not high on my personal priority list.

I've got a full US Car Tool chassis stiffening kit that's going on the car now that the blasting is done.

Just got my Duster back from sandblasting. In addition to the front frame rail damage/rust that I already fixed and the driver's floor plan that is in bad shape, I was a bit surprised to see how much swiss cheese was lurking under the paint. I assume there's nothing to do but weld in new sheet...
