old school combo valve, comes with cone fittings that you can jamb into fuel lines. Were only talking 8 psi tops. HF has them for $13 with a bunch of fittings. doubles as a big vacuum gauge.

Down and dirty injector size formula: lbs/hr=HP/(cyl*2) target HP divided by double your cylinder count. 300HP V8 {300/(8*2)} is 300/16 or 18.75 lbs @ standard 39.15psi fuel pressure. You can tweak your fuel pressure to go up in psi easier than changing injectors!

Demons had this, a great feature that Holley adopted. Center of the window. I liked setting mine with the motor off and the electric fuel pump running as my motors tended to shake a little.

the cup height determines the amount of shot into the carb, (the depth of the shot is the variable, the height I think is fixed to allow fuel slot to fill the pump cavity) the and this is determined by where you hook the linkage to on the arm. the 3 holes have 3 different pump volumes.

Carter old is leather carter/brock/weber is plastic and rubber. I dont think the 2 cups can interchange. Thats crazy the leather lasts in fuel.

I found one that only needed one of its check valved reseated. it just popped out and was easily pushed back in and then staked. good luck.

Had to read that twice but I think you may be onto something. I think it's just a pin. The block off plates are the same for LA and B/RB so the mount is probably universal but I'd check the throw of the arms. They probably are the same though at the pump end.

I think the 71 has more value to restorers, but the 72 has more support. Go with what works better, I'd choose the 72 and sell the 71. Its only money.

IIRC the 71 TQ;s had the metering screws at an angle, the 72+ common ones are straight out.
