    Buddy dropped 2 valve seats in a 5.7 300..maybe the valve is hung up on one causing the floppy rocker? $250 is still worth it. Not sure of the 6.4 had the same issue. Rebuilders peen the seats in now after a valve job.

    so pop in an aftermarket cam (probably do that anyways on a performance build) and your poor metallurgy troubles will be gone? Sounds like a 'simple' (relative) fix, not a design redesign.

    I said make that suspect 'oil blocking galley' an inverted spray bar to squirt oil the cams underside and the rollers to boot. Problem solved? Wouldn't stop the 'galling' of the dry lifter bores but it couldnt hurt. New roller cam cost $80 from MP? Why are LA rollers still >$280?

    check valve height without rockers. if they are all even using a straight edge, your good on a common dropped valve seat.

    If I were building a Gen3 Hemi, I would upgrade the heads as the first order of buisness. I know 3 locally that have dropped valve seats out of OEM heads and ruined an otherwise great motor.

    ^^^ OOF ^^^ That's a shot of reality right there. Thats a nice touch on the rear O-ringed plug. Looks like build quality is top notch, maybe not so much in the design. Seems the losses are right in the stock power band, ala sonic ram tuned intake. Maybe it picks it up on the very top end?
