    I installed a petronix 1 in my 66 Barracuda S 15 years ago . Petronix said they did not have a kit for the 273 dual point but had one for a 340. I ordered the 340 kit and all I had to change was enlarge one screw hole very little. Works very good. I left the resistor in but bypassed it.

    I have a Mopar 4 way flashers kit that I want to install in My 66 Barracuda. Does some one have a picture of where it needs to be mounted? I know it is by head light switch but i would like to know where the dealers installed them. Thanks Jay

    Thanks for the help. I think I need to start by taking out the dash. But will check out the bulkhead connector also. Might need a fuel gauge .

    The temp,gas and oil gauges on my Daughters 67 Barracuda quit working. Where is the voltage limiter before I take out the cluster. Is it the same as My 66 Barracuda? Thanks

    Petronix thoughts

    I definately would go the Petronix system. I am running it on 4 cars now and it works well. The 66 Barracuda has a dual point with the Petronix in it and works very good too. Only way to go.

    Know who can fix a radio?

    It is a long way to send it but I have had 2 A body am/fm fixed at a shop in Duluth Mn. I have a 66 AM radio there now. My Daughter lives there and will pick it up for me. I could get you the name if you want.

    I installed a Pertronix kit in my 66 273 HP with dual point about 3 years ago. I used the one for a 340 dual point if I remember right. It all fit right and works well.

    Couple alt/reg questions

    If there is another connection on the alt it should be grounded. Most rebuilt alt are wired for the newer style regulator. I have just grounded the other conection and it works with the black old style regulator.

    Anyone run a Pertronix Ignitor III ignition module

    I am running the original in the 66 Barracuda with the dual point distributer, the 66 wagon with a slant 6, and my wifes 57 T Bird. They work very well and no problems.

    I am thinking of doing this also. How do you wire it? I would think the regulator is not used? I checked on the altenator today and they are available. Thinking it would go on the 66 wagon first.

    electronic ignition help????

    I am running the Pertronix in both a 66 Valiant wagon with a slant six and a 66 Barracuda with dual point on a 273. They both run and start better and were easy to install.

    I need help with the wiring of an orange ignition box that came with a 66 Dart 273. The box was not wired in and I would like to know where to wire it into. Engine runs with one wire running to the battery. Can I use the original balast resistor also. Thanks
