Sounds like you have a cone type sure grip. A clutch type, you can't see any springs.

I know this might turn a lot of stomachs, but I am thinking of putting a T5 borg warner from a 1991 Mustang Gt into my 1970 Duster project. There are a few different manufacturers that make a LA bellhousing to a T5 borg warner trans. I am on a tight budget and cant really afford the Keisler...
