Which PS Pump and what size pulley is already on it? You'll need the correct PS bracket for V8.

    Federal Power Steering Pump Pulleys

Hey fellow Mopar brothers and sisters: Other than perhaps looking a little weird, would I run into any issues using the Federal Pump with correct bracket from my 225 '75 Scamp when I swap in the 383? The Slant 6 PS pulley is 6 3/4" and crank pulley is 6 1/4 I believe. I've been looking around...

    Steering column fix

Sorry guys, I know this thread is old. My /6 to 383 swap, I plan on keeping the car (75 Scamp) auto on column. I plan on "trimming" that ringlike portion. The actual lever you removed won't interfere in my application, since the level only moves toward driver's side and at 2 O'clock to 5...

    Anti Sway Bar Hellwig 55905

72bluNblu; thanks for the info on the grease and fitment, I appreciate it. Everything is still very loose on the install. I realize the brackets are not in the right location in the pic. I'll mark it up when I'm ready to drill. As for the finish I gave my opinion about, I still might have a...

    Anti Sway Bar Hellwig 55905

Hey Folks! I ordered and received a Hellwig 55905 Sway Bar from Summit for $160.99 total. This is going on my 75 Scamp that did not have a sway bar, and also did not have the L bracket on the lower control arms. I have the bar through the K Frame, tried both possible position, only one works...

Hellwig 5905 sway bar install troubles 74 duster

Are you still happy with this sway bar? I'm thinking I'm gonna install on my 75 Scamp. No factory mount on LCA, looks like I'll be drilling! Which bolts did you use to mount the end link bracket to LCA?

mancini or jeggs leaf spring xhd 340duster

I installed the Mancinis XHD springs and could not be happier! Nice lift (if that's what you want) but not too high and not done with crappy air shocks or long shackles.

Car Stance with New Leaf Springs

Call Mancini racing, and order a set of XHD springs. They will give your car some lift. I have been very happy with 'em on my Scamp.

air shocks....to do or not to do

Air shocks provide a really rough ride. The reason it affects the suspension is because they are so damn stiff. It doesn't allow one side to twist up as the other twists down. Think of SS springs with an extra leaf on the right side....

    Mancini Leaf Spring Help!!!

The one with the extra leaf is on the right - passenger side. It should be even # on right (82) and odd number on left (81). That's the basic golden Mopar rule. all part numbers ending even are right side, odd numbers left side - tail lights, door handles, etc.

    super stock springs?

For my Scamp, I went with Mopar XHD springs I bought from mancinis. I couldn't be happier with them. Nice stance, good handling.

Anyone use these "redesigned" coupler kits by Steer and Gear?

I'd be interrested in finding out how the original post's option lasts / works out. OEM set-up is a pain in the nuts!

What do you guys think about theas leaf springs?

For the price they are asking, I would just go with Mopar Extra Heavy Duty leaf springs through Mancini Racing. I got a set of these for my Scamp, and I'm very happy with them. http://chucker54.stores.yahoo.net/extraheavyduty.html
  25. roadrunnerh

Mancini extra heavy duty springs sagging

I always believed the left side was supposed to be slightly lower because when the car launches it shifts weight to the right side which you would want to be stiffer (higher) to hook up..... When I installed the XHD springs on my Scamp the right side is higher when you install the springs correctly.

Which leaf springs, also need shock plate info

X2. http://chucker54.stores.yahoo.net/suspension---chassis.html Mancini Racing will have what you need at a good price.
