Hello guys, can anyone help me out? I want to use my 5/16 steel fuel line with the AVS 2. Is the actual fitting on my steel line 5/8-20?

I know I'm digging up an old one here. Trying to use 5/16 steel line (fine lines brand) with my new AVS 2. What fitting will I need? I found #2218D - not the one you mentioned. I appreciate the help. Weary and getting close to the end of my swap!

I'm curious too, I plan to buy the same scoop this summer.

Have you checked the fuel line where it connects to the carb? Also, if you have the plastic clear fuel filter (replace it with a metal one) but check if it holds fuel after the car has been sitting.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Hi guys. So I am removing the canister from my 75 Scamp, and the only line still connected is the fuel vent line coming from the fuel tank. Any thoughts on how far back to cut it and should it bend unward, or does it not even matter? I was thinking of cutting it a couple feet away from the fuel...

So I installed the new gas tank that the previous owner included in the deal with the '75 Scamp I bought last Fall. I now need a ground strap. I ordered one but it was the short one (3 1/2") - I need the longer one. I rigged 1/2 a speaker wire with allegator clips for a temp. Any ideas on what...

According to their website, this model tank should fit the Scamp. I'll be able to make it work, just had a lot of frustration with this and needed to vent. Ugh......
